They received the knowledge of good and evil (i.e. the ability to know the difference between right and wrong) and for the first time in their life felt guilt. Guilt both for allowing themselves to be tricked and for breaking the only "law" that God had given them up to that time (i.e. not to eat that one type of fruit). They also became embarrassed for the first time in their lives, because they were naked and hid from God so that he could not see them (although that was the only way he had seen them before that as that was how they were created by God and it did not bother them before this).
Eve fell for the snake's trap and ate the forbidden fruit and persuaded Adam to eat some of it too. God got angry because they disobeyed him and Adam and Eve ended up banished from the Garden of Eden forever. It's a very sad story really. I don't think God should have punished Adam and Eve but should have punished the snake instead. But it is said that God did punish the snake because it is believed that the snakes used to have legs but God punished it by taking away its legs. Maybe if God hadn't banished Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden human civilization would be still living there. Hopefully this helps! :D
They realized they had sinned and were naked.
Adam and Eve
No, if they were blind then Eve would never has ate the fruit on the tree that satan was offering. Then adam and Eve wouldn't of disappointed God.
Eve,and then Adam ate some.
No, Both Adam and Eve ate from the tree. In Quran, Muslims holy book, both Adam and Eve ate from the tree and accordingly both of them are held responsible of disobeying God (Allah) the Creator.
they ate a fruit off the tree
It is my personal belief that Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden a long time before they ate the forbidden fruit.
From Adam and Eve. Adam was the first person in the earth. And eve was the second. they multiplied. And do you know what? Eve, and Adam sinned(they ate the fruit of good and knowlege) because they sinned, that is why there is pain when women give birth.
Both ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil: a serpent tempted Eve who ate it first and then offered the forbidden fruit to Adam. But the bible never identifies that fruit as being an apple...
The relation between Adam and eve were broken after their disobedience in the garden of Eden.
Obviously Adam and Eve! Read Bible for details.
The original nature of Adam was perfect and without sin. Adam and Eve sinned when they ate forbidden fruit.
It is unclear from the narrative what time of day it was from the story as written. However, as Adam and Eve were is paradise, the current conception of a day may not be accurate to describe when the sin was committed.
