Guido Fawkes (Guy) in 1605 was close but never got the chance to bomb Parliament, he attempted to, but never succeeded as he was caught, then tortured (hung, drawn and quarted before he was burnt on his own pile of gunpowder, (although i suspect, he wasn't burnt on gun powder) & that is why we have a Guy on a bonfire at Guy Fawkes celebration, pleasant... huh?
