Over the years scientists have made wonderful inventions. As exaple the computer. Children these days will stay inside and play on computer. But in the earlier childhood you didnt have cellphones or computers or Video Games. That caused you to be outside more often.So it is because less kids every day go outside and play. Some will still go out and exercise though. I hope i have answered your question!
