"But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood, neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia and returned again unto Damascus."
Acts has three mutually incompatible versions, that theologists and scholars have struggled to reconcile.
After Saul saw Jesus in a vision, he was temporarily blinded ,but saw the truth in his heart. After than he changed his name to Paul and taught people to know and love Jesus. :)
Paul "saw" Jesus on the road to Damascus. (Acts 9:1-19)
I think he came as a vision to Paul
In the bible it says saul meets jesus on the road to Damascus, and is blinded.
He was a pharisee who were into bringing Christians to be judged and stoned.
Saul of Tarsus also known as 'Apostle' Paul.
All of those that saw what happened.
Matthew Chapter 27, verse 54 states: "Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, 'Truly this was the Son of God'."
They were mainly the disciples , the friends like Lazrus and those who saw Jesus heal someone.
Those who watched Jesus on the cross were his followes , Mary Magdalene his mother Mary and others.
Lets make one thing very clear, the bible clearly states that Jesus is going to come only a second time, and not so frequently as people claim. Man can not look at Jesus as he is very pure , and we would go blind. It happened to Paul. What preachers and people say , that they saw Jesus is plain imagination.
They didn't. The disciples saw Jesus as a man, and God's chosen Messiah. It was the false prophet Paul who perverted the message of Jesus.
