it will be celebrated on that day
In 1968, the Uniform Holiday Bill Act was passed so that several national holidays would be observed on a Monday. The date of Veterans Day was moved to October 25, in 1971 which did not sit well with some of the veterans. In 1975, the date was moved back to November 11.
the old veterans day was November 1
Because of our men and women who are now in a war .
27 to date
We celebrate veterans day because, the date 11 November originally celebrated the aniversery of the official end of world word I on that date in 1916.
I presume you're referring to the 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. There was no particular significance to the date prior to 2001. It's largely coincidence that it happened on a date that can be cast into the same form as the emergency phone number in the US (there's no evidence that the terrorists were aware of the possible connection ahead of time). So, if it had happened on a different date, it would have happened on a different date. Not a very exciting or particularly informative answer, but there you have it.
on 25 december
The date of Veteran's Day was never switched. It has always been on the 11th day of the 11th month to commemorate the signing of the treaty that ended World War I. It is celebrated on the Monday following the 11th of needed so people can have a day off from work to shop and ignore what the day is supposed to mean.
