The reactants would be Cl2 + KNO3.
This is a single replacement reaction. Look at the chlorine and the nitrate. Which one reacts more? whichever one reacts more needs to be in the compound. Looking at the Periodic Table, it looks like nitrate reacts more, and it is already in the compound. Therefore, there is no reaction.
I haven't been taught this in a while, but this is what i recall. sorry if i am wrong.
there may be interactions between the various ions present within the solution but there is no real overall reaction.
Lead iodide (Pb2I) precipitates as a yellow solid, leaving a solution of potassium and nitrate ions.
We obtain a solution containing ions of: H+, NO3-, SO42-, K+.
There will be no reaction as they have same anions (nitrates)
There will be no reaction because they have the same anions i.e. nitrate
If you heat strongly you get a cake of KCl at the bottom of the falsk and form Nitric Acid
Reaction as follows:
KOH + HNO3 --> KNO3 + H2O
Potassium nitrate is formed in this.
The chemical reaction is:
2 NaCl + Pb(NO3)2 = PbCl2(s) + 2 NaNO3
Chemical reaction that expands.
If the sodium sulfate and barium nitrate are both in solution in water, a precipitate of barium sulfate will be formed, because this salt is much less soluble in water than barium nitrate, sodium sulfate, or sodium nitrate.
When heat copper hydroxide and sodium Nitrate the pale blue precipitate change into black solid
sodium nitrate ----> sodium nitrite + oxygen
it dissolves into water because the sodium nitrate is a type of salt that is better dissolving in water so when it hits 30 degrees it will already be dissolving.
Sodium Nitrate NaNO3 (subscript) for sodium ion Na+ and and nitrate ion NO3- combine to form this compound
vinegar
The lead nitrate and sodium sulfate precipitate together and becomes lead sulfate and sodium nitrate. lead nitrate+ sodium sulfate --> lead sulfate + sodium nitrate
A precipitate of yellow Lead iodide and Sodium nitrate are formed
If the sodium sulfate and barium nitrate are both in solution in water, a precipitate of barium sulfate will be formed, because this salt is much less soluble in water than barium nitrate, sodium sulfate, or sodium nitrate.
You could die.
No reaction is observed because they have same anions, Nitrates
When heat copper hydroxide and sodium Nitrate the pale blue precipitate change into black solid
Calcium phophate will precipitate from sodium citrate solution
Any reaction occur.
Sodium Nitrate
sodium nitrate ----> sodium nitrite + oxygen
Sodium nitrate is more soluble than sodium chloride; sand is insoluble in water.
