The energy release of an exothermic reaction is released to the surroundings.

What is the exothermic reaction in terms of bond breaking and bond forming?

An exothermic reaction is a reaction that happens when energy is release. This means that a bond is being broken. Because the bond is broken, it has undergone an exothermic reaction.

NO

What is released by an exothermic reaction?

what is released during a chemical reaction is ENERGY.

it is exothermic because heat is liberated to the surrounding during the chemical reation

When an exothermic reaction occurs in a water solution what happens to the temperature of the solution?

The temperature rises. An "exothermic" reaction releases heat energy in the process.

What happens in a exothermic reaction?

In an exothermic reaction, the total making and breaking of bonds results in a net release of energy.

Exothermic Reaction.

Is burning aluminum endothermic?

The reaction aluminum underwent during the disaster of Hindenburg was exothermic. It is exothermic because during this disaster it gave off heat.
