Havdallah marks the end of Sabbath or a festival. It consists of making a blessing over the cup of wine, a blessing over spices, a blessing over the flame of a multi-wicked candle (or two candles brought together), and a blessing marking the end of the day. These blessings can be found in the Sidur (prayerbook). The blessing over the flame is said only after the Sabbath, not after a festival.

A Havdallah candle is a long braided candle (usually with white and blue braids but not necessarily those colors) with four wicks that is used in the celebration of Havadallah. Unlike Shabbat Candles, the Havdallah Candle is extinguished after the celebration and reused in the next celebration.
The Jewish religious ceremony is spelled Havdalah (Hebrew הַבְדָּלָה).
Havdallah is a religious service where we say goodbye to Shabbat (The Sabbath) for the week.
The Havdalah spices are not customarily burned. We say a blessing on the spice (such as cinnamon) and smell it as is.
