Well I wouldn't recomend for your dog to eat a turtle because turtles CAN carry samonella and it is not the greatest thing to injest because it can cause to illness and possibly even death, I really do not recommend for you or your dog to eat a turtle because it can cause alot of pain and illness, Hope I helped

∙ 14y agoIf by turtle food, you mean those floating food pellets (like Reptomin or Zoo Med), then yeah, it's okay if the cat eats it. The main ingredient is fish meal, and cats love fish, so it's no wonder some cats like to eat turtle food.
It's not dangerous, but I wouldn't let the cat eat too much of it.
