i have a puppy now dog who ate a whole pencil and a tip but
she's been alright every since shes ate the pencil. and my older
dog when he was 2 years old he ate my cousin's colored pencil and it was red.

Guess what..... he let out red dump in my neighbors yard. hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by the way he was alright and my girl dog is just fine

If the pen had a lot of ink in it, there may be a risk of medical concern.

You should call poison control or speak to a trained veterinary professional.

Even if there was little or no ink, I would suggest calling your local vet. There may be sharp edges of the pen that could damage the dog's digestive tract.

Yes. He cannot use the nutrients in a pencil and the wood shards may irritate his intestines. But, it is not poisonous so if he does not show symptoms of gastrointestinal distress he should be fine.

Most lead now is not toxic, and your toy poodle will be fine, just try to make sure your toy poodle won't get a hold of It again.

well my dog used to do that but i think it's ok because he's still here and he did it last year it's proably fine but just in case that it to the vet

it will go to his heart and eventually cut the vein that takes blood and oxygen and he dies!
