If the officer is subpoenaed according to the Rules of Procedure, and he doesn't appear, none of his reports can be used as evidence and the case may be dismissed. You definitely need to see a criminal law attorney right away to ensure that your rights are protected. If you can't afford to hire a lawyer, contact the Clerk of the Court where your case is being heard and ask for one. You may have to fill out a form for this, but make sure to do it ASAP.
