If nonrenewable resources aren't used wisely, it will run out forever. We need to use them wisely or there will be problems with certain machinery such as vehicles. Vehicles need oil (oil is a nonrenewable resource) and gas (another nonrenewable resource) to run. In 2011, there was a horrible blizzard that blocked out the streets and kept cars from getting out, now that was bad because people couldn't get to work and they got in trouble or probably fired. Just imagine if cars where permanentlygone. Total chaos. People won't be able to get anywhere at all. Well, they could walk, but still, the elderly can't walk everywhere, it would be too much for them. So that's what I have to say. Use nonrenewable resources wisely or they'll be gone.

Are minerals renewable or non renewable resources?

Virtually all minerals and rocks are considered nonrenewable in normal human definitions of time. The rate at which most minerals and rocks are being used far outstrips the abilities of natural processes to renew them. In geologic time, some rock and mineral resources could be considered renewable. Others, however, would not be renewable after any period of time, due to the unique circumstances that led to their initial formation.

What happens to a population when its grows larger than its carrying capacity?

basically the size of a population can only grow to equal the amount of resources the environment can provide (carrying capacity). So if there arent many resources in an area and too large of a population, then there will be starvation and fight for resources. But if there is an overabundance of resources and the carrying capacity is very high, then the population will grow till it falls under its own weight. It's the cirlce of life.
