What happens if sertraline is taken discontinuously?

During the 5-8 days of the sertraline discontinuation, the most frequent symptoms reported by more than a quarter of patients were irritability, agitation, dizziness, headache, nervousness, crying, emotional lability, bad dreaming and anger.
