A:You probably know people who do not believe in God, but unless they discuss this with you, you will never realise it. Some could even be among your best friends. In other words, nothing happens to them or to you, whatever beliefs they hold. People who do not believe in God are just as upright, ethical and caring as religious people, but they do not need a Saviour to justify their altruism.

Some may believe that those who do not believe in God will go to hell, because their God is a jealous God who can not accept being denied. Those who do not believe in God say there is no afterlife, and therefore no heaven or hell.

A:Nothing "happens." We are as free to NOT believe as others are to have their beliefs. The same thing "happens" (or doesn't) to believers and non-believers. No one has ever proven differently.
