If the doll is a Cosmetology training doll/mannequin head, it is perfectly fine to curl the hair with an iron. If it is a toy doll, the iron will most likely melt the hair.

If you are going to curl your Bratz dolls hair, I would recommend that you do NOT use a proper curling wand. You could get a pen or pencil and wrap the Bratz dolls hair around it and leave it for a while, then gently slide the hair off. You can also use hair curlers that do not use heat. When I was younger I had a Barbie hair curler made especially for dolls so you can purchase those from 2 dollar shops. The best option would be to purchase the doll hair curlers.
