Why you might ask...
Well you see if you cut the tail off the monkey and then let him go he would forget he no longer has a tail and when it goes to swing from a branch he would of course fall out of the tree.
This is hypothetically answered my reader friends of monkey's.
No I have not attempted this dasterdly deed just to find out, But it goes to figure this is what would take place.
i come to this conclusion from watching a National Geographic show about a baboon who was flipping over rocks to get to the grubs undernieth.
The baboon came upon a stone that when he lifted it there was a coiled up snake and the baboon let out a scream and did a back flip and fainted.
Then when he awoke he went right back to that same rock and lifted it again and doing the same exact back flip with the fainting and everything he did the first time he lifted the rock.
He got it after the second lifting and when he awoke the second time he decided something was not right about that pile of rock and went elsewhere to lift his rocks.
My point being that the baboon did not have a very long memory and I figure they are smarter then monkeys and so you see the reason for my answer.
