If you mean force, as in strength, then you could either go too far or too slow, here are some examples:

- In Netball, to get a perfect goal, you need to bend down with the ball above your head and take it slowly, then push up for a goal, and to get it up near the ring, you need your arm's strength. so like, if u give it too much force, it'll go over the ring, and if u give it little force then, its not gonna get anywhere near the ring. and to defend you need the strength in your legs to jump high.

- Basketball is kinda the same, you need all the arm strength you could possibly need to drible the ball while running down the court, too much force in the legs and arms, the balls gonna go flying everywhere (trust me!) and little force, it could be that the other team could take it away from you.

- When your doing athletics, you need all the strength you possibly need. like high jump, you need the force in your legs and back, legs to run and jump, and back to get over the bar. in long jump you need leg strength, and a handy tip would be to when you jump in the arm, toss your arms to the front. incase you do fall forward. in discus you need full arm strength, to throw the discus very, very far, same with shot put, but you need heaps and heaps of force from the wrists and arms.

there are heaps of examples, but i reckon, the most force you need are either, weights, gymnastics or any type of Wrestling.

just take this as a note. Cathy Freeman, when ever you see her running, you can see muscles coming from her thighs (and no its not a bad thing) shes using all the force she could possibly need

Why are numbers essential?

Quantity matters. You cannot measure things without numbers. If you are buying something or selling something, or installing something, building something, etc., you have to get the right amount, pay the right amount, use the right amount. Think of your cake recipe. Your cake will never come out successfully if you do not have a reasonably good idea of what quantity of ingredients to use, and nothing has any measurable quantity unless you can use numbers.
