Several things result. They are;

  • In a lifetime you make less money
  • You may worker harder for less money
  • The more you know the more you get paid
  • Job training may be harder to obtain
  • You will not be able to experience the 'traditional' college experience (such as joining a fraternity)
  • Jobs may be harder to find or be more service type jobs

You don't have to attend college, but you do need to have some type of job training to obtain a good job. Thirty years ago a person could get out of high school, get a job with a industry/factory/corporation, and stay in that job for 30 years. This is no longer true because those types of jobs are gone and what is left are lower paying jobs unless you have some special type of training or a college degree. I have done both and have found that working less to make more is much better than the opposite.
