feeds no coolant to your engine, then air gets into your engine which will cause it to seize up and shut down, car will constantly shut off when temperature gets to high(dosent take long at all). will blow your gaskets and engine this way
The coolant leaks out.
Engine coolant expands when heated. Heated coolant needs a reservoir to come and go as needed.
When your radiator fails in a car, your car will overheat. Sometimes it will explode with steam. Usually you lose your radiator coolant. Often you will have to replace your radiator.
Radiator coolant.
The coolant could have frozen in the radiator. If that happens the coolant in the engine will just get hotter. It could also be the thermostat.
Coolant goes in the radiator or you can also fill the radiator resevoir.
Low coolant, radiator restriction.Low coolant, radiator restriction.
In systems that do not have a radiator cap, the coolant is drained by the radiator drain plug. It is filled by adding coolant to the system through the overflow bottle.
Your car will leak anti-freeze/coolant. If you run out of fluid in your radiator then your car will overheat in a short period and cause much more damage. Fix your radiator!
Assuming you still have some form of coolant (water) in your radiator then the coolant will freeze when the weather is cold enough, coolant expands when it freezes, this may cause permanent damage to your engine, such as split pipe's, burst radiator, cracked engine block
you are most likely leaking coolant and if your car should be overheating in a short period of time.
If the radiator is cracked then the vehicle has ran dry on coolant. This would cause the radiator to crack if there wasn't any coolant.
