Well it depends, If you have no clue what your doing I think you shouldn't because you could end up hurting yourself.
The worst that can happen is that it gets infected so if your thinking about doing it keep checking it for signs of infection just incase.

If you press both the Power button and Home button simultaneously a screenshot of your current screen will be saved to your "Camera Roll". If you hold both the Power Button and Home Button your iDevice will shut down and reboot.
Your nose and belly button would probably be worse than your ears as your ears are cartilage with not many nerve endings and a relatively poor blood supply. Your nose is home to many infections which do not make you ill because your skin is intact, pierce it and those infections go straight in. Your ears are out in the open but your belly button is covered by clothes most of the time providing a warm, moist environment for infections to grow. This really depends on the individual. I pierced my earlobes 3 times and all 3 times it got infected even though I religiously followed the aftercare. I pierced my belly button this year and it's been 4 months and hasn't given me any problems even though I have sensitive skin. Also, the earlobes have much better blood supply than the belly button.
Hold the home button, then hold the power button, and then the DOWN volume button until you see the apple sign.
