Sometimes nothing at all and sometimes it makes a world of difference. Whatever happened to make you miss try not to let it happen again. I'm the queen of forgetting to refill my meds and all kinds of crazy situations happen because of it but don't ever freak out just resume taking them as prescribed and be aware of your mood. Its good to try and be familiar with your moods so as to catch yourself when things are going downhill. Do not try to take more to make up for lost time. It won't help and may mess things up more! Usually with antidepressants they have to build up in your system over time so sometimes when you miss you still have enough in your system to keep you going but it just depends. So this also means if you start feeling a bit down after having missed a week, you will need a few days of taking your meds to get you back where you were. If you're not taking your meds because you don't like the way they make you feel don't stop just tell your doctor immediately! Prescribing meds is a trial and error based system which kind of sucks but there is something out there that will help.
