The salt will be abrasive and the baking soda may act as a degreaser. If you plan to do this, check it out on a small, hidden portion of the floor. For carpets, this mixture left overnight will help kill fleas.
To effectively fill gaps in a wooden floor using a wooden floor gap filler, follow these steps: Clean the gaps thoroughly to remove any debris or dirt. Apply the wooden floor gap filler into the gaps using a putty knife or applicator. Smooth out the filler to ensure it is level with the rest of the floor. Allow the filler to dry completely before sanding and refinishing the floor if necessary. By following these steps, you can effectively fill gaps in your wooden floor using a wooden floor gap filler.

you can clean the floor with baking soda by mixing some soapy bases!
What?! Uh, No!
your head bangin on the floor
If the wooden floor is going directly onto terrazo there is no way to nail it.
A wooden floor is easier to clean with a mop and it gets stains out faster than a carpeted floor. Carpet has a lot more stains and messes which is harder to clean.
A ball would typically roll further on a wooden floor compared to a carpeted floor due to less friction between the ball and the surface on a wooden floor. The rough texture of the carpet creates more resistance, which slows down the movement of the ball.
no it isn't
A coir mat typically has more friction than a wooden floor because of its coarse texture and ability to grip onto shoes or feet. The friction generated by the coir mat can help prevent slipping and provide better traction compared to a smooth wooden floor.
I dont know how the baking soda could make the floor damp but you are right it making odors go away. It works great in shoes and cars too. It sounds like the mixture absorbed some moisture. Perhaps wiping it off with a clean towel would be the thing to do. Letting a damp mixture remain on the floor doesn't seem like a solution. Is there a source for the moisture? Perhaps it is responsible for the musty smell. (is there a crawlspace that has standing water?)
