Overheating issue. Open your cabinet and clean the heatsink with a blower or a small brush to clear the dust. If it still happens, install a larger heatsink and/or a CPU cooler fan. Use SpeedFan to monitor your CPU temp.
The DIRT AND DUST CAN ACTUALLY DAMAGE YOU FAN AND CPU. THE FAN ACTUALLY STOPED WORKING FOR ME ONCE

You have problems with either your hard drive or your CPU. It looks like it's CPU problem. Check the CPU radiator, clean it if it has some dust, aslo you will have to remove it in order to check therma paste which is between the CPU and the radiator. If it's dry and not flexible you have to clean the CPU and radiator from the paste and put new one. You can purchase a paste online.
The reason why you would use a computer cover is to protect your monitor, CPU, keyboard, and printer from computer damaging dust. Using a computer dust cover also will protect your computer from harmful particles that can increase overheating.
The CPU does not "know" it is not a thinking being. What happens is that the interrupt flag ( a binary true or false register) is detected by the operating system which is being executed by the CPU and the code of the operating system runs a routine in response.
Most likely your computer will overheat and crash.
In computing, background processing happens when the CPU (CPU's) have spare capacity from on demand requirements and can perform tasks without affecting the response time of the user.
It is unlikely that this will happen, but I suppose that anything is possible. The Hard Drive itself should be almost if not completely sealed. This should keep dust out of the drive it self. However, dust can cause things to overheat if it becomes thick enough. If the hard drive casing became caked with dust, I suppose the heat build up could cause a "hard stop," which takes place when it becomes to hot to prevent damage. The same thing could happen to the CPU. If the heat sync became clogged with dust, a hard kill could be triggered to keep the CPU from melting down.
That is a very good question! You are allergic to the organic dust in your house. That includes the excreta of cockroaches, house flies and mites on the beds and sofa. Some time you can see the the dust collected inside your TV sets and CPU of computer. They should be periodically get cleaned by vacuum cleaners or alternately by the blowers from the vacuum cleaners, in open space.
