Tonsillitis can cause a bunch of referred pain to the surrounding areas. Many people experience ear pain and jaw pain with tonsillitis. I have also had pain in my molars. Hot liquids can relieve some of the pain.

∙ 14y agoYes, you can get a headache from your tonsils. There is a nerve near your tonsils and irritation in that area can cause a type of neuralgia that radiates into the head and face as well as down the neck and into the ear. The nerve is called the Glossopharyngeal nerve
