What happens in 'Wanted' the last book of 'Pretty Little Liars'?

pencer, Hanna, Aria and Emily discover the existence of Ali's institutionalized twin sister Courtney, who seeks to befriend them. She later reveals that she is actually Ali, switched with her sister and trapped in the hospital as part of Courtney's plan to escape and take over Ali's life. Courtney had befriended the girls as Ali, and had later been murdered in Ali's place. Just when the girls accept Ali, it becomes clear that she herself had murdered Courtney in revenge, and now seeks vengeance against the rest of them for their part in Courtney ruining her life.
The girls find out that they never actually knew Ali, they only knew Courtney, pretending to be Ali. In the last book they learn that Ali killed Courtney, and then Ali tries to kill all four of them in revenge.
