In an attempt to find their parents, Fang gets injured and has no choice but to go to a hospital, where FBI agents meet the Flock and question them. One agent, named Anne Walker, offers the flock a safe place to stay for the time being: her own house. The flock enjoys their time at Anne's house, and as time goes on, she convinces them to attend school. At school, things get suspicious, relationships and jealousy erupt, and new discoveries are made that get the Flock even closer to uncovering secrets about the School and their creation.
