Clark defeats Bizarro who is sent to be imrpisoned by the Martian Manhunter, Clark also meets Kara, his Kryptonian cousin who was within her spaceship which was trapped in a dam for 18 years. Clark helps Kara control her newfound powers such as her Heat Vision and they both learn the truth about her Father, Zor-El who is a jealous Kryptonian being who just wanted Clark's biological Mother; Lara all to himself. Chloe and Lana discover that Brainiac is still alive. Jor-El frees Clark from his trap in the Fortress since he wants him to deal with Bizarro and with assistance from Lana and Blue Kryptonite, Bizarro is destroyed. Chloe and Clark meet Black Canary and Kara loses her memory as well as her superhuman powers but Jor-El restores them after Chloe pleads with him. Lex Luthor learns the truth about Clark Kent and they both face off at the end of the season, Lex uses the device that was rumored to be the device so powerful enough to control him however it caused the collapse of the Fortress.
