Simple to explain.
In "Star Wars the Force Unleashed' first serie, you got to choose if you battle Vader or the Emperor. In the story, Starkiller CHOSE to battle the emperor. He died after the battle. But Vader brought Starkiller to Kamino, and because of the cloning technology, Starkiller is brought to life. There is one little problem. He doesn't remember his past. And Vader took Starkiller to Kamino to make an army of Starkillers. So in the game, you eventually play as Starkiller to make him remember his past. Just like in the first game, at the end you choose to either kill Vader(Dark side) or let him live(light side).

There isn't going to be a Force Unleashed 3. But I have a gut feeling that they will release some type of media (just not a game) that will continue the timeline of what happens after The Force Unleashed 2
