A nuclear powerplant is a Thermal powerstation that uses a nuclear reactor to generate electricity.

The method:

A nuclear fission or fusion reaction happens which produces up to 650 to 700 Degrees Of heat when controlled. This massive amount of heat is then open to massive amounts of water that produces steam which in turn the turbines that produces up to 10,000 Mega Watts of electricity.
