Ziva and Tony are still flirting and fighting, and at the end Director Jenny Shepard dies! :(

Season 5 starts with an explosive episode 'Bury Your Dead' where the team find out about Tony's and Jenny's undercover work. Tony's assignment was to date Jeanne to find out more about her father who is an arms dealer. Tony's cover was blown and his car blows up, making the team think he is dead, which turns out he's not.
After that Tony has deal with a broken heart as Jeanne has left him , but he still manages to work.
A few episodes more, episode 14 'Internal Affairs' Jeanne breifly returns only to accuse him of murder when the body of her father turns up. They have a moment near the end where he lies to her saying that none of it was real (when it was!) and it's the final end to Tony and Jeanne.
After a few episodes after (only including important/defining episodes) in 'Judgement Day part 1', we see the director of NCIS, Jenny Shepherd get killed.
In 'Judgement Day part 2' the team continues to race against the clock as they hunt for the killer who took the life of one of their own.
That's the end of season 5.
