In book 16 (last volume) nobu, nakao, risa, otani, chiharu, and suzuki are on the school class comitee for the end of the year activities. It turns out that nocu and nakao were filiming everyone in the class and when it was otanis turn they told him to say i love you to risa (on tape) because she was the one who had to do all the hard work throughout the school years (make otani fall for her) so he said i love you i don't know what i would've done if i hadn't met you I'm really happy that i met you and cheesey stuff. But they said they wouldn't show it to the whole class they did risa saw it and she said am so happy, otani said am glad. they all walked off outside and ris said i didn't know you loved me that much. nobu and nakao wanted suzuki and chiharu to take care of them so they don't break up or go separate ways. then a group of kids said that that were dating this one kid didn't knoe so he said they are that's an odd couple risa thought about it but otani smiled and grabbed her hand she smiled too walked off into the sunset while nobu was saying i guess they don't need our help afterall. At the end end they all waved back and said bye to everyone
