We breathe in air consisting of oxygen through or nasal cavity or mouth. This air goes into the the trachea and then splits off into the two lungs, and finally to the alveoli (air sacs). Blood capillaries containing deoxygenated blood are wrapped around the alveoli. The oxygen enters the capillaries, while the carbon dioxide goes back in the air sacs. Then, the carbon dioxide goes back up the trachea and out of the mouth or nasal cavity. Then, the process repeats again with a new breath.

Without a proper oxygen mask, a pilot's respiratory system can collapse in a supersonic plane.
its in the middle of your upper chest.. mostly including your lungs :)

The system that exchanges oxygen and carbon dioxide between blood and air is the respiratory system. This process occurs in the lungs, where oxygen is taken in from the air we breathe and carbon dioxide is released from the blood into the air we exhale.
This is mostly the respiratory system though it does include parts of the cardiovascular system. The respiratory system; more specifically, it happens in the alveoli of the lungs.
air is filtered, warmed, and moistened.
The particles trapped by the cilia in the respiratory system are moved upwards towards the throat where they are either coughed out or swallowed and eventually expelled from the body.

The respiratory system is the system that handles breathing.
