The parents want to go on a r.v. trip and by the end of the episode almost all of the cast wants to go with them. Eric wants to retire and for Lucy and husband to take over at the church. All the characters love each other and despite their disputes, want to be near each other.
It ended May 13th 2007 with Eric and Annie deciding to pack up and travel America in their new RV. Erica and Annie decide to pack it all up and see America by way of an RV, given to them in celebration of Eric's clean bill of health. Initially taken aback by this momentous and sudden decision, Lucy and Kevin ultimately decide to join Eric, Annie and the rest of the family - and extended family - on their exciting new adventure.
The decade ended, it became the eighties.
