In the fifth book of the Twilight series, "Breaking Dawn," Bella and Edward get married and Bella becomes pregnant with a half-human, half-vampire baby. The pregnancy is difficult and leads to Bella's transformation into a vampire to save her life. The story culminates in a battle between the Cullen vampire family and the Volturi. Bella and Edward ultimately live happily ever after with their daughter, Renesmee.
