What happens is that the resistance of 1100 newton is the MAXIMUM resistance. If a force of 1000 newton is applied, the actual resistance will also be 1000 newton. If a force greater than the maximum force of friction is applied, the object will start to move.

What is weight of boat with upthrust 1100N?

1100N. Mass 110kg

When to replace safety footwear?

- When the shoes (outsole or upper) look worn down - When a heavy object (20+ kg) did fall on the safety toe cap - When the toe cap received a compression pressure of > 1100N - When a sharp object penetrated the outsole but you were protected by the protective mid plate Safety shoes must be replaced when they have served the purpose of protecting you. Sometimes the shoe might still look fine, but since you can't see the protective toe-cap you're not sure that it is still in perfect condition. Outsoles that are worn out have less slip resistance. As slips and trips are still one of the most common workplace accidents, a good slip resistance is necessary. This can be obtained by ensuring the outsoles remain clean and by replacing them when the outsoles looks worn out.

How much weight is 110 kgs?

Assuming you mean kilograms (kg) not kilogram-seconds (kgs), then it depends where you are standing. Weight is the effect of gravity on a mass, the kilogram is a unit of mass, not weight, so you have to multiply by the force of gravity, which varies. The force of gravity on earth is generally rounded to around 9.8 ms-2, on average, abbreviated as "g" for convenience. So the weight of a 110kg man on earth is roughly 1100N (the Newton, N, is the SI unit of force including weight). On the moon, it would be about 180N, and you would weigh slightly less in an aeroplane at altitude than on the ground. Astronauts are not "weightless" as such, they are in free fall: they are accelerating downwards at constant acceleration which matches their weight. 1 Newton = 0.225 lbf (pounds force), 9.78N (the weight of a 1kg mass) = 2.2 lbf approximately. One kilogram is approximately 2.2lb avoirdupois. So if you meant, what's 110kg in pounds force (lbf) the archaic measure of weight still used in some backward places, the answer is to multiply by 2.2, and for most purposes you can assume that one pound avoirdupois weighs one pound force at ground level.

What does the proportion 0.6 over 1.1n over 8.47 equal?

Let's form the proportion: 0.6/1.1 = n/8.47 or (6/10)/(11/10) = (n/1)/(847/100) (6/10)(10/11) = (n/1)(100/847) 6/11 = 100n/847 Proportion is a statement that two ratios are equal. The value of n makes this proportion true. The numbers that form a proportion are called the term of proportion. There is a special relationship between the terms, called the cross products property. That is, 6/11 = 100n/847 (6)(847) = (11)(100n) 5082 = 1100n so, n must be a number that when multiply 1100 equals 5082. 5082/1100 = (1100/1100)n 4.62 = n So, the proportion is: 6/11 = [100(4.62)]/847 6/11 = 462/847 Or, If you look at 847, you see that 11 x 77 = 847. So 100n must equals 6 x 77 = 462, in order to make the proportion true. So, 100n = 462 n = 4.62 and 100 x 4.62 = 462. Thus the proportion is: 6/11 = 462/847 If you want the original proportion is, 0.6/1.1 = 4.62/8.47
