Everything is lost.

The whole point of Christianity is that we are dead because of our sins, but that God loved us even while we were sinners, and offered us a second chance through the death of his son Jesus.

If you merely follow Christianity for the moral aspect, then you don't care about Jesus. You care about trying to "be good," forgetting that we are all sinners and even our most righteous acts are like rags to God. When we try and do good things to "earn our way to heaven" we forget that God doesn't need us to prove ourselves; he loved us before we ever loved Him.

Christianity is meant to be a journey and a relationship with Christ. If it is just a show of morality, there is no Jesus, and there is no Christianity.
