When the altitude increases, the air pressure decreases (or "GOES DOWN") and vice versa.

Six years later, but okay: As the altitude goes on increasing, the air pressure falls. This is mainly because as you go up the atmosphere, the density of the atmosphere decreases. So, as you go up, the pressure is lesser.
