When atoms have a chemical reaction, that usually means that they changed their state and can not go back. For example, if you put food coloring in a glass of water, thats a chemical reaction because it cannot go back to its original form of just water. Or if you change a liquid into a solid or a solid into a gas and so on. Those would all be chemical reactions. We just learned about that a few weeks ago.
They are rearranged
This is a chemical raction.
something happens
They are rearranged
Gain, or loss, or sharing of electrons with other atoms.
Combine with other atoms Separate from other atoms they are already attached to.
During a chemical reaction, atoms are rearranged and bonded together in new ways, forming different substances. The total number of atoms remains the same before and after the reaction, as atoms are neither created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction.
During a chemical reaction, bonds between atoms are broken and new bonds are formed. Atoms rearrange to form new molecules or compounds, resulting in a change in the chemical properties of the substances involved in the reaction. Energy may be absorbed or released during these bond formations and breakages.
Chemical changes involve breaking and forming of bonds between atoms. Chemical energy is required to break bonds. The formation of new bonds releases energy.
The atoms are unchanged in any chemical reaction. Only the outer electron shell is affected as chemical bonds are formed.
They get rearranged to form new products.
A chemical compound can be formed.
