Trees that lose their leaves annually are called deciduous trees.
Coniferous trees bear cones. Pine. Decidous trees shed their leaves in autumn. Elm.
Deciduous trees and shrubs drop their leaves during Autumn each year.
Pine trees do not lose their leaves in Autumn. They are tall trees that have string like leaves and have cones on them. The cone are called 'Pine cones'. The look relatively the same all round the year.
Deciduous tree loose the leaves each fall. They enter a dormant state in the winter months before coming to live with new buds in the spring.
I believe all maples lose their leaves in the fall but certain oak trees keep their leaves all year. The "live oak" is named such because it keeps its leaves through the winter.
Deciduous trees will loose there leaves each Autumn, here are a few examples, Oak, Horse Chestnot, Sycamore, Apple, Cherry, Beech, Ash.
