In car accidents newton's 1st law of Objects in motion stay in motion unless affected by an outside force.
So when a car is in an accident it has a sudden decrease in the velocity. Which then causes your body to try and keep with its motion of lets say 60mph but the car is going 0mph after the accident. Until something stops you that is why you wear a seat belt. Seat belt is the outside force that slows you down, and vechiles are built with an cushion area on the bumpers so that you stop at a slower rate(impulse). The longer it takes you to stop will prevent injuries!
hope this helped
As the force is applied to the car the people inside will slide slightly forward ,as it is know that a body will retain its state of rest or continue moving if no external force is applied to it
The first law states that every body continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion unless acted by an external force. As long as the car is moving at constant speed, all parts of the car including the occupants are moving together at the same speed. When a crash happens, invariably the uniform motion is altered, in the worst case the car comes to a sudden stop. If a person is not belted, the person keep moving forward (since he is not constrained and is not an integral part of the car) and injury happens. The seat belt first and then the improved seat belt with a shoulder harness tend to minimize the forward motion of the person by mimicking the person to be an integral part of the car. However, you can design the seat belt to such a rigidity that the body does not have room to move. The rigidity should be just sufficient to control the forawrd movement. In most cases there is a ratchet mechanism which will lock the seat belt after a collision. The air bags with the seat belt further reduces the forward motion of the body and prevents injury. In a nutshell the seat belt minimizes the effects of a sudden state change to a free body when its state changes suddenly from one of uniform motion to soemthing else like a sudden stop.
Force = mass x acceleration.
A big acceleration - a sudden change in velocity - requires a large force. If the force is large enough, it may harm people, or the car.
its momentum remains unchanged, until decelerated by an impulse force, such as an airbag.
Because the car is stopping quickly, you would move forward because of the car's velocity quickly coming to rest.
All of them.
Pressure and heat.
the person would probably be crushed inside the transformer
It decreases.
That is a very unusual question. The answer is you feel inside a human body.
The LARYNX is inside your throat. Singers use it a lot when taking breaths. The happens to be nothing inside the larynx. It is just a muscle.
What happens to people inside a car during a collision and the laws that apply
when your inside a car, and you dont have your seat belt on, your like a missle
Seatbelt..or maybe airbag
There is absorption of radiation inside or outside of the object
In a collision, the second collision is when an unsecured driver strikes the inside of the vehicle.
The tadpoles is developing inside the eggs.
The collision of the molecules of a fluid inside the surface of their container best describes pressure.
Yes, this is what happens when there is a fetus growing inside of you.
magma flows up to form the eruption
it blows up inside you............... then you die in 7 days;]
photosythesis happens inside a plant
Hemorrhage is essentially the loss of blood, very quickly. This can happen inside or outside of the human body and most of the time it happens quick.
