Depends if you have Type I or Type II. Diabetes Type I - can be controlled through diet in some individuals or even pills. Type II - are insulin dependent individuals and cared for properly can be controlled for their lives but when left and not properly cared for it will ultimately become worse to diabetic insulin shock/comas, open wounds, removal of limbs, kidney dialysis/failure, and death.
type 2 diabetes can cause serious health complications. That's why is very important to know how to spot type 2 diabetes symptoms. Even pre-diabetes can increase the chance of Heart disease, just like type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Talk to your doctor about preventive measures you can take now to reduce the chance of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
The symptoms of type 2 diabetes due to high blood sugar may include:
The truth is you will end up with heart failure that's what they will say it was congestive heart failure
It can not be "cured" and so will last the rest of your or their life.
Continued high blood sugar can lead to heart disease, strokes, retinopathy (which can lead to blindless), kidney failure, and amputations (most often of the feet).
You will get sick and possibly die. If you have it, or think you might have it, go see a doctor.
The pancreas stops working altogether.
maybe depends how cool you are
about when u get old
Well, diabetes happens when your pancreas stops working. When you have Type 1 Diabetes (like me), your pancreas makes no insulin at all. Most people take shots or use an insulin pump. Type 1 Diabetes can not go away. This type usually happens in children. Type 2 Diabetes usually happens in adults. Sometimes Type 2 Diabetes can go away. Most people who have Type 2 can lose weight to end their Diabetes. Most people with this usually take pills instead of shots. :) Hope this helps... :P
absolutely. There are 2 kinds of diabetes. Type 1 and Type 2.
There is NO type of 'good' diabetes, but the one your looking for is probably type 1 diabetes. People are usually born with that type. Type 2 diabetes is the one people get if they're overweight, don't exercise, and they eat junk all the time.
Yes.
Diabetes type 2 diet is most likely referring to a special diet for people with Type 2 Diabetes. People with Type 2 Diabetes need to watch their blood sugar levels, this means eating a lot of foods with a low glycemic index.
Type 1 is controlled by injection and type 2 is controlled by diet

People with Type 1 Diabetes have an extremely limited amount of insulin which could lead to severe problems when insulin is not medicated to the recipient. People with Type 2 diabetes all have pancreas that produce less insulin
If mother had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant, then chances of having diabetes for a child is low. But gestational mother have more chances to have diabetes type 2. If this happens then the child diabetes risk is increased. If father have type 1 diabetes, then the child has some very low risk of having type 1 diabetes (autoimmune disorder). If father had type 2 diabetes then diabetes risk for the child is higher as compared to the mother with type 2 diabetes.
i know this very well because i have diabetes and i'm an RN type 2 is your answer
Diabetes type 2, usually older people get type 2 diabetes.. What happens is that the pancreas slow down (they get tyred) and produce less insulin than the body needs. The person diagnosed needs to have someone help plan a balanced diet and sometimes pills are needed, to help the sugar in the blood stream go to the organs.
You do not have two types of diabetes at the same time.
