Non renewable sources are the ones which once used cannot be replenished. The non renewable sources like coal petroleum are in fixed amount on the earth. Moreover they are formed in millions of years therefore it will take further million years to form them again. However due to the increasing population, the people are becoming more dependent on these resources thus leading to the extinction of these sources.

What happens to the PPF when there is an increase in resources?

An increase in resources, such as a growth in the labor supply or in the capital stock, shifts the frontier outward.

What happens if resources are wasted?

We will simply run out of that product faster or it might take longer to get more of it. Although it really depends if its a renewable or nonrenewable resource.

What happens to abiotic factors when biotic populations increase?

When biotic populations increase, abiotic factors may be affected due to increased demands or interactions. For example, increased plant populations can deplete soil nutrients or water availability. This can lead to changes in abiotic factors such as nutrient levels, water availability, or light intensity, potentially impacting the overall ecosystem balance.

What happens to populations when there are abundant resources within an ecosystem?

When there are abundant resources within an ecosystem, populations typically experience growth due to increased availability of food, water, and shelter. This can lead to higher reproduction rates and a decrease in mortality, resulting in larger population sizes. However, as populations grow, competition for resources may intensify, potentially leading to overpopulation and subsequent ecological issues, such as resource depletion and habitat degradation. Eventually, the population may stabilize or decline once resource limits are reached or environmental pressures increase.

What happens if you waste?

Resources will decrease while at the same time rot and disease will increase.

What happens to the diversity after fragmentation?

Fragmentation can lead to a decrease in genetic diversity within populations and increase isolation between populations which can then decrease overall species diversity in an area. This can result in reduced resilience to environmental changes and increase the risk of local extinctions.

What happens if nonrenewable resources aren't used wisely?

let`s take an example to understand that we are using electricity and not saving it so, in next generation if it will not there so ,what we can do same like in petroll also al will use bycycle so,it`s important to save resources.

What happens to the earth if you dont start recycling?

Resources gets used up faster and the risk of environmental damage from big landfills increase.

Does the process of evolution occur at the individual level, where selection happens to individuals, or at the population level, where selection happens to populations?

Evolution occurs at the population level, where selection happens to populations rather than individuals.

When will expontiential growth occur?

Exponential growth occurs when the increase of a quantity is proportional to its current value, leading to a rapid rise over time. This type of growth typically happens in populations, investments, or processes where resources are abundant and conditions are favorable. It is characterized by a consistent doubling time, meaning that the quantity grows at a constant percentage rate. Exponential growth can be observed in various contexts, such as biology, finance, and technology, particularly when innovation accelerates or when resources are readily available.
