The force changes in the direction opposite to the change in distance.

More distance ==> less force, and less distance ==> more force.

That's why the gravitational force between the sun and you is small,

even though the sun has a lot more mass than the earth has.

What happens to the gravity as the distance between the objects is increased?

The size of the force decreases. It is inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

What happens to force of gravity when the distance between two objects decreases?

As the distance between two objects decreases (i.e. they get closer together), the force of gravity increases.

What happens to the distance interference fringes if the separation between the slits is increased?

decreases

What happens to the distance between the spinous processes during flexion of the spine?

During flexion, the distance between the spinous processes is increased.

What happens to the gravitational force between two objectes if the distance between them is increased?

the gravitational force between them decreases.

What happens to the strength of gravity when the distance is doubled?

When the distance between the centers of two objects is doubled, the gravitational forces between the objects are reduced by 75% .

What happens to the distance between the crests when the amplitude is increased?

Nothing happens. Distance between crests is a measure of frequency; amplitude is a measure of the strength, the height of the wave, or auditory volume of the signal.

What happens to the force of gravity on a satellite as it gets closer to the sun?

The forces of gravity between any two objects depend on the mass of theobjects ... stronger for greater mass ... and on the distance between them ...stronger for smaller distance.

When you increase the distance between two objects then what happens to the gravity?

The force of gravity between them decreases. The force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance. This means that, for instance, if the distance doubles the force with be one quarter. If the distance is ten times as great the force will be one one-hundredth as big.

If the distance between 2 objects doudle what happens to the gravitational attraction?

Gravity force will be reduced by a factor of 4.

What happens to the pull of gravity as the distance between two objects increase?

The further two objects are from each other, the smaller the gravity, the equation for this is: Mass 1 X Mass 2 ---------------------- Distance Squared
