The real answer is that it depends on the individual. Tylenol does take a toll on the liver however used as directed one should not suffer any adverse side effects. If you are concerned about your dose or frequency talk to your doctor. You may also want to go in for monthly blood tests to verify that your liver enzymes are within normal ranges. It is a simple test which will give you a red flag before you experience any major problems.

What happens when you snort Tylenol with codeine?

Nothing. Codeine is processed through the liver. What happens when you snort T3s is a clogged nose and a bad taste in your mouth.

Why can't you mix codine with alcohol?

You can, but it's not recommended. The reason for this is, codeine is a narcotic and alcohol is, well, alcohol. The alcohol will increase the effects of the codeine. But also don't forget that codeine is generally composed with Acetaminophen (Tylenol) which is hard on your liver, and so is alcohol of course. Prolonged use of either or both can cause many liver problems such as: an enlarged liver, liver spots, cirrhosis of the liver, and(or) hepatitis.

Would you die if you are allergic to codeine and took thirty Tylenol with codeine No it's not something I would do?

Probably, unless you had prompt medical treatment. The Tylenol would kill you due to liver failure. If you survived you might well have permanent liver damage, which isn't nice.Look, why are you asking this? You're not planning to do anything silly, are you?Seriously, you have me worried.

Is it safe to take 17 Tylenol 3 and mdma?

No. Ironically, the Tylenol will cause severe liver damage. The codeine and mdma dosages would only cause problems in people with extreme sensitivity to them.

What body system does tylenol3 effect?

Tylenol 3 is acetaminophen and codeine. It is an analgesic and mild opiate. Metabolized in the liver, it can affect liver function, but general does only for those with compromising conditions such as cirrhosis of the liver or hepatitis. Codeine can impair judgment and reflexes, and care should be given when taking this medication and operating machinery.

Can you take hydrocodon and Tylenol with codeine at the same time?

Hydrocodone has Tylenol in it. It can be in large amounts or smaller amounts. I've seen it have 650mg of Tylenol all the way down to 350mg. Because of the damage to your liver, I've always been told not to take Tylenol when you take hydrocodone.

Can you take a regular fioricet and a Tylenol 3 together?

The safest thing for you to do is to call the doctor that prescribed the medicine. He will know more about your body's chemistry, your dosage amounts and be able to provide a much safer answer than someone that is unaware of your medical history.

How many tablets of acetaminophen codeine?

The Tylenol is much more toxic than the codeine in the medication. You would die from liver damage before you would die from lack of breathing/heart function and CNS (central nervous system) depression from the codeine. So, follow the protocol for Tylenol toxicity and maximum daily dosage. That is, no more than 4000mg, or 4 grams, of Tylenol when taking the medication short term. In extra strength Tylenol, this equates to 8 tablets. You should never take more than 1000mg, or 1 gram, (2 tablets of extra strength Tylenol) in a 4 hour period. If you're taking the medication for chronic or long-term treatment (continuously for 2 weeks or more), 2500mg per day is the rule of thumb. Anything over that and you're at risk for liver damage. Alcohol consumption, of course, (as well as intake of several other substances) increases the likelihood of liver damage and lowers the threshold of the amount of Tylenol required to cause liver damage and failure. Liver failure from Tylenol is not sudden nor immediate. It happens slowly and often unnoticeably before it's too late. I don't think I need to say that getting a liver transplant for a liver that you damaged yourself and avoidably so is very difficult as "supplies" are limited and reserved for those who have a failing liver though no fault of their own.

Is it bad to take 3 Tylenol pills?

The maximum dose of acetaminophen for adults is 1000mg at a time, and 4000mg per day. Tylenol 3 contains 300mg of acetaminophen. That makes up to 13 Tylenol 3's during the day. But Tylenol 3 contains 30mg of codeine, and they do not recommend to take more than 240mg of codeine daily. That makes 8 Tylenol 3's all in all at maximum. If you need more acetaminophen, you may try to replace Tylenol 3 with Tylenol 2 or Tylenol 1 (15mg and 8mg of codeine respectively). But, of course, the less you use the better.

What will happen if you take 3 tablets of tylenol3?

Tylenol 3 has two drus - acetominophen and codeine. The acetominophen can have effects on the liver as well as cause stomach bleeding, but you have to take a lot to cause an acute toxicity. However, the codeine component is powerful and three tablets could be enough to cause an overdose, which could kill you.

Is Tylenol processed through kidney or liver?

The liver.
