All the water in the Earth is in the water cycle. Even if it's 10 miles under the surface or if we consume it because eventually the water can be brought back to the start of the cycle (unless it's processed to break the bond between h2 and o).

When the sun heats the earths water what happens to this water vapor?

When the sun heats the Earth's water, it evaporates and turns into water vapor. Water vapor rises into the atmosphere where it can eventually condense to form clouds and then fall back to Earth as precipitation. This process is known as the water cycle.

What happens to streams and rivers at the fall line?

Water fall

Is there a water cycle when its cold?

Yes, the water cycle still occurs when it's cold. The process of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation still happens, although at a slower pace in colder temperatures. Precipitation may fall as snow or ice instead of liquid water in colder regions.

What stage of the water cycle does rain fall from the sky?

What happens during evaporation and how does it contribute to the water cycle?

During evaporation, water changes from a liquid to a gas due to heat energy. This process occurs when water molecules at the surface gain enough energy to escape into the air. Evaporation contributes to the water cycle by transferring water from the Earth's surface into the atmosphere, where it can later condense and fall back to the Earth as precipitation, completing the cycle.
