They are either washed ashore or their habits, such as coral reefs are destroyed in the tsunami. Whales have sonar hearing and sometimes know when to get out of the area when seismic waves are near.
Some whales do die if a tsunami is bad enough just from the brutal beating they get from bashing into buildings and other debris but this only happens to the whales that get caught in the wave (This only happens if the Tsunami is really big) the whale that are under the wave but still pretty close to the surface (within 100m of the surface) will get rolled around and if there are any rocks or anything near them it is possible they will die from hitting these rocks but for the whales that just get rolled around as the wave passes over they will not die directly from the tsunami, however some whales to get so disorientated from the tsunami that they will become depressed or wander into swim into packs of orca's - so the answer to the question would be yes but maybe not in the way you expected
I,d say they are too far down to be affected
A tsunami happens most often at Hawaii.
It disappears until the tsunami dies away. I don't know what happens to a tsunami but this is what I think.
It depends on the type of whale.
It is hard to answer that question because a tsunami only happens when an earth quake happens near you.
fish
yes. whales live in the ocean. that's where tsunamis occur as well. they probably run into each other sometimes i bet
the Japanese killed to many whales so god punished them, idiots
Obviously, the earthquake happens first and then tsunami follows.
when a tsunami enters shallow water there is imediate danger that a tsunami is about to strike...!!(: ENJOY.
