Depending on the type of DC motor, it will either run normally or just heat up and make noise.
i think the motor will rotate to and frow.means it will rotate in clycle.it will complete half cycle.and after it will complete its other half cycle in anticlockwise direction.
It depends on the construction of the motor. If the field winding is connected in series with the armature winding, the motor will probably operate normally. If the field winding is connected in parallel with the armature, the motor will not run. It will just will draw current, make noise and get hot.
It will burn it out and maybe catch on fire!

To convert the high voltage on a feeder line to a lower voltage that can be used on the plant floor you use a transformer.
No. If you attempt to reduce the voltage to a cap start motor by using a rheostat, you can destroy the motor.
Voltage dividers are used in a linear circuit to separate the input voltage into a small portion known as the output voltage. It is commonly used to get a low voltage signal equal to the voltage being measured.
depending at the kind and high at the voltage, or/and the high of the power

Voltage flow into a starter motor, never out of it. Use the voltmeter to measure the voltage at the starter motor before starting to crank and then whilst it is cranking. (Before cranking, the voltage appears across the starter motor relay only.)
A megger is used to test the resistance of high voltage cables, insulation and motor windings. The test employs a megohm meter.

Transformers are used to convert electricity from high voltage to low voltage and from low voltage to high voltage.

dc series motor :A series-wound DC motor has a low resistance field and armature circuit. Because of this, when voltage is applied to it, the current is high. (Ohms Law: current = voltage/resistance). The advantage of high current is that the magnetic fields inside the motor are strong, producing high torque (turning force), so it is ideal for starting a train. The disadvantage is that the current flowing into the motor has to be limited, otherwise the supply could be overloaded and/or the motor and its cabling could be damaged.
There are devices called thyristors which are used for switching purposes in high voltage levels. Thyristors are of different typesSCRIGBDiacTriac, etc.Apart from these MOSFETs, a type of transistor, are also used in high voltage switching applications.
How high is the voltage that is being used? With high enough voltage any current is dangerous.
