This is not good. It could bite off pieces and swallow them which is not good for them. Instead put hard wooden things (like toys or branches) to chew on. Guinea pigs teeth never stop growing, therefor you need to have something for them to chew on to wear the teeth down. The plastic ingested can hurt the piggy.

Does your guinea pig look active? Is your guinea pig pooing regularly. guinea pigs will try to hide signs of pains as a way to protect themselves so look closely! Also check for clear eyes and check if its poo is firm and see if your guinea pig's stomach is bloated or swollen. If you see these or other signs, contact a vet immeddledly!

Hope this helps!

Yes, Ginuea pigs can eat rabbit food BUT The vitamin C levels Are different in most rabbit foods, and Gunuea pigs need Lots of vitamin C. As long as you provide them with fruits and vegetables full of vitamin C it should be fine.

ANSWER:

No Guinea Pigs are NOT supposed to eat rabbit food or any other kind of small animal food, unless it says its made for them! They all have different dietary needs and it wouldn't be good for them to eat each other's foods because of this. Their food really doesn't cost that much at all, the best kind to get would be the kind that's made JUST for guinea pigs. An example.. like "Kaytee timothy complete guinea pig food" that's a really good kind for them and it's less than $10, they have guinea pig food at the pet stores too, its not much either. I hope this helps you. Good luck on whatever you decide to do. :D

Not a good idea in any sense. These bags are toxic to their systems if and when they eat them and suffocation is a possibility.

Yes, if they get too much into the trash. Plastic can block their digestive systems and make them eventually starve to death.
