it stays
What it means is that this person had either deleted their account, has blocked you :( i hate it when it happens to me it could mean that you have not signed in to it and your a guest and not a member
Your Facebook account won't shut down!! You just need to keep on Facebook a lot or you will loose it forever!
Your account will be gone, but if you had pictures on there, Facebook will still have them (I'm pretty sure about this because MySpace does it).
They are gone as well.
All that happens is your old account becomes active again, so it stays the way you left it.
of you deactivate it just use your username and password and log in again. The account will work like it did before
It says "There is an existing account associated with this email" so i guess you cant use the same email even if there's another with its deactivating stage.
Heaps of people I know are under 13 and have them and I got mine when I was 10. Nothing actually happens. No one will know you just 'lie' about your info and its done!
Your facebook profile can now become your ever-lasting presence in this world. On October 2009 Facebook chief security officer announced it will memorialize the profiles of its deceased users. Once a user is confirmed dead, Facebook keeps his wall active for friends and family to keep posting, for the sake of showing respect and love. You may use an facebook application named "If I Die", where you can instruct your friends what to do with your account, AND - create a legacy video. +++ So it will keep your account active by default? Eerie! No opportunity to have it closed and deleted?
Yep. Sometimes that happens and it's really weird when it does.

maybe you should go on your phone and log out of Facebook via. And then use a desktop or laptop computer and get on your facebook and see what happens. Or maybe it's a scrue up with your phone.
