They will get really upset and propably not like you anymore.(Unless you use the testingCheatsEnabled true cheat and you drag their friendship bar back up!!)

∙ 12y agoYour ghost disappears because the Grim Reaper takes them to the underworld witch no one has seen, but if you have another sim who is at least friends with the dead one you can get an opportunity from the science lab which will revive them to playable ghosts. (sorry i dont know what it is called my game is in dutch)
The ghosts will still have a gravestone in their inventory, on which they can select an interaction which will make them be not playable again. (the sim returns to his/her gravestone and will probably somtimes come out at night like non-revived ones do.)

If you don't delete the tombstone or urn, then once in a while the sim's ghost will wander around the lot. It will only be on the lot where the sim died. You can't control the ghost, and it will scare people.
